This automatic knife is built for discreet, real-world carry. A California-legal 1.99" matte black, partially serrated blade snaps open with a positive push-button and locks solid. The skeletonized black and silver steel handle keeps weight down while adding grip and control, backed by a spine-mounted safety so it only opens when you want it to. Compact, pocketable, and ready for daily cutting tasks, it’s the kind of small auto you stop noticing—until you need it.
Automatic Knife for Sale: Compact, Legal, and Built to Be Used
If you’re looking for an automatic knife for sale that you can actually carry every day, the Shadow Flea California Auto Knife - Black Silver is built for exactly that job. It’s compact, California-legal at 1.99" blade length, and tuned to be a discreet tactical tool you can rely on, not a showpiece you’re afraid to scratch.
Why This Automatic Knife Is Worth Buying Now
This isn’t a novelty auto. It’s a compact, side-opening automatic knife designed around real carry laws and real use. The matte black, partially serrated drop point blade gives you controlled slicing at the tip and aggressive bite near the base for rope, zip ties, and packaging. The skeletonized black and silver steel handle keeps the profile slim while still delivering solid in-hand control.
Every decision in this design serves daily carry: short legal blade, push-button deployment, spine safety, and a three-inch closed length that disappears until work appears.
Mechanism Confidence: Push-Button Auto with Real Control
When you buy an automatic knife, you’re really buying trust in the mechanism. This compact auto uses a straightforward side-opening push-button system: press to fire, blade snaps out, and locks firmly in place. There’s no vague half-deploy; the action is positive and deliberate.
Back Safety for Pocket-Safe Carry
A spine-mounted safety sits on the back of the handle near the pivot. Slide it on, and the button is effectively locked out. That means you can drop this automatic knife into a pocket, pouch, or bag with far more confidence than a button-only design. Slide safety off, and it’s ready to deploy on command.
Compact Size, Full Utility
At about 5" overall open and 3" closed, this is a truly compact automatic knife. The finger groove and gentle curve of the handle give you a surprisingly secure grip for its size, and the blade profile keeps enough straight edge plus serration to actually get work done—opening boxes, cutting cord, trimming material, and handling quick daily tasks.
Blade and Handle Details That Justify the Purchase
The matte black blade is cut with multiple round lightening holes, reducing weight and adding that purposeful tactical look without being flashy. The partially serrated drop point gives you versatility: fine control at the tip, aggressive cutting near the handle.
The two-tone skeletonized steel handle—black frame with silver inlay—does two jobs at once: it trims weight and provides extra traction points for your fingers. Exposed screws and visible hardware give it an industrial, no-nonsense appearance that matches how it performs: simple, solid, and easy to trust.
Real-World Performance You Can Count On
This automatic knife for sale is tuned for everyday cutting, not hard prying or abuse. In that lane, steel construction and a secure lock-up mean it will handle repeated daily use—tape, packaging, cord, straps, plastic clamshells—without complaint. The matte finishes on both blade and handle help keep reflections down, reinforcing its stealth tactical character.
Value: Why This Compact Auto Makes Sense at This Price
At this price point, you’re not paying for exotic materials or collector cachet—you’re paying for a reliable automatic mechanism, steel construction, and a legal-to-carry blade length in a compact package. For buyers who want an automatic knife for sale cheap enough to actually beat up, this hits the sweet spot: inexpensive to replace, but solid enough that you won’t feel like you bought a toy.
If you already own larger autos or OTFs, this fills the gap they don’t cover: small, low-profile, and acceptable in more day-to-day settings. It’s the automatic you can actually carry without drawing attention.
What Buyers Ask Before Purchasing This OTF Knife
Is this OTF knife worth the price?
Yes—if you’re looking for a compact automatic knife that balances legality, utility, and cost. You get a steel blade with a practical 1.99" length, partial serrations for tougher cuts, a push-button automatic action, and a spine safety for pocket security. The skeletonized steel handle provides durability you can feel, without bulk. For buyers who want an automatic knife for sale cheap enough to use hard but built well enough to trust, this is a strong value play.
Is this OTF knife legal?
This is a side-opening automatic knife with a California-legal blade length of 1.99", designed to fit within many stricter state and local length limits. However, knife laws vary widely by state, county, and city, and can change over time. Before you buy or carry any automatic or OTF-style knife, confirm your local laws and regulations to ensure compliance in your specific area.
How fast does this ship?
When you buy this automatic knife from a stocked listing, it ships quickly—orders typically leave the warehouse in the next standard shipping cycle, so you’re not waiting weeks for a pre-order or backorder to clear. In plain terms: if it shows as available, it’s ready to move and you can expect it in your hands without delay.
